Gameplay & Modes
Here is how the games and modes work in this collection:
-
Arcade Mode: Similar to original arcade versions. You fight through CPU opponents and get each character’s ending. Saves are supported so you can pause and resume progress in single-player modes.
-
Versus Mode: All 12 (or 13) games support local versus play — you can choose any two players locally, pick characters and stage.
-
Online Play & Training Modes: Only some of the games have online multiplayer plus training. The ones with these features are:
-
Street Fighter II: Hyper Fighting
-
Super Street Fighter II Turbo
-
Street Fighter Alpha 3
-
Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike
-
-
Online Features: Includes ranked and casual matches, global leaderboards, ability to spectate, and the ability to play against CPU while waiting in the lobby for matches. They also use a “rewind”-netcode technique to reduce input latency.
